Born in Durban, South Africa in 1947, I moved to Costessey in 1955, and attended St Augustine's School in Old Costessey. I obtained a scholarship to attend St Joseph's College in Ipswich. From there I went into the Hotel and Catering Industry. I became interested in local government when I retired in 2007. I have served on CTC committees for Finance and Governance, Planning, Property and Environment, Staffing, Budget Working Group, Cemetery, Lodge Farm project and Local infrastructure review. Apart from CTC duties, I serve on 10 more committees which benefit our community. In my private life, I have been married to Faye for 50 years and have lovely children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
