I live in Queens Hills and moved onto the Hills in 2012. I live with my husband and young son. I am a practising lawyer. I had wanted to find a community focused voluntary role for a while and came across the role of a councillor. I was initially co-opted onto the council, and then re-elected in May this year. As a young professional and a local parent, I really wanted to be involved in my local community. I am a councillor for Queens Hills Ward and was very proud to see the added play equipment come to fruition, as a mum of a toddler this was something I felt as both a councillor and a resident was needed on the hills. I look forward to serving on the council over the forthcoming term and look forward to representing both my fellow Queens Hills residents and the wider Costessey community.
